Overview
JWS Coatings UK was appointed to carry out an external respray of both the aluminium shopfront system and the roller shutter door at a retail unit in Bristol. The work was carried out as part of a rebrand programme requiring full colour matching to Greggs’ corporate anthracite grey specification.
Surface Preparation
All substrates were degreased and abraded to remove dirt, oxidation, and loose coatings. Glazing, surrounding brickwork, and signage were fully masked to prevent overspray. Particular care was taken around roller shutter mechanisms and glass-to-frame junctions to retain operational function and surface integrity.
Application
The system was spray-applied using HVLP equipment. A two-pack polyurethane topcoat was used to provide commercial-grade durability and long-term resistance to UV and weathering. Coating was applied in dry, ventilated conditions with attention to uniformity and finish across multiple surface types.
